BEAVER CREEK, Colorado — The 23rd annual Beaver Creek Art Festival returns July 31-Aug. 1.

The event will include 150 of the nation's leading artists presenting a mix of unique contemporary and southwestern art. Admission is free.

Vail's Free Concert Series

Summer in Beaver Creek

When visiting Beaver Creek this summer keep in mind the Edwards Farmers’ Market. The market focuses on high quality farm and gourmet food products and it attracts some of the finest farmers and food vendors in Colorado. Farmers arrive early on Saturday mornings with refrigerated trucks loaded with freshly-picked conventional and organic fruit & vegetables. Gourmet food vendors come from all over Colorado with their freshly-made specialties.

Patriotic Concert Tickets

Tickets for the annual July 4 Patriotic Concert featuring the Dallas Symphony Orchestra go on sale Thursday and will be held at the Ford Amphitheater.

Called “A Salute to Freedom, the concert begins at 2 p.m.

Pavilion seats cost $15 and will go on sale at the amphitheater box office on Thursday at 8 a.m., with a limit of four per person. No telephone orders will be taken and no tickets will be sold online or through the Vilar Performing Arts Center box office. Ticket purchasers must be 16 years of age or older.

Vail Arts Festival

The Vail Arts Festival will be held June 25-27 at Arrabelle, Vail Square and Lionshead Mall.

Bike to Work Day!

Tomorrow, Wednesday June 23 is bike to work day in Colorado. 
Colorado residents are encouraged to walk or bike to work.

The ECO Trails Committee, along with local bike shops and businesses, are supporting this statewide event by rewarding citizens who choose to use bicycling or walking to travel to their workplace.

4th of July in Beaver Creek

Celebrate the birth of our nation under the blue skies of Beaver Creek. Ride the Centennial chair lift up to Spruce Saddle with your mountain bike and cruise down. Try fly fishing on the Eagle River or nearby creeks. Whatever you choose to do by day, head to the Beaver Creek back lawn located next to the Centennial Chair lift by night for a celebration for all ages. Enjoy two free outdoor concerts opening with the Surf City All Stars, a Beach Boys cover band and featuring Parrot Beach, a Jimmy Buffet cover band that will have you doing a double take that it isn’t really Jimmy himself.

Last Comic Standing to the Vilar Center

This winter season, NBC's "Last Comic Standing" will be at Beaver Creek's Vilar Performing Arts Center.  It will be held Jan 9th, 2011 in the seventh season of the Emmy-nominated comedy-competition.
This tour will feature the finalists from the popluar series.  There will also be open casting calls inviting comics from all over the country to participate.
The funniest comedian in America will be rewarded $250,000 plus an exclusive talent deal with the network.

Bud Light Hot Summer Nights!

Bud Light Hot Summer Nights are approaching!
This annual free concert series is hosted at the Gerald R. Ford Amphiteater.
Music ranges from country to rock to bluegrass funk.
