Bike to Work Day!

Tomorrow, Wednesday June 23 is bike to work day in Colorado. 
Colorado residents are encouraged to walk or bike to work.

The ECO Trails Committee, along with local bike shops and businesses, are supporting this statewide event by rewarding citizens who choose to use bicycling or walking to travel to their workplace.

Volunteers will be hosting rest stops between 7 and 9 a.m. at Mayor's Park in Vail, at the Malin pedestrian bridge in Dowd Junction, at the Avon Highway 6 roundabout, at Edwards Highway 6 intersection, Mountain Pedaler in Eagle and on Highway 6 in Gypsum. Visitors to the rest stops will be offered refreshments as well as free giveaways for making the effort to ride or walk to work.
